Join us in welcoming Professor Leonor Saiz to GGAM!
Professor Saiz holds a faculty appointment in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at UC Davis and brings to GGAM a dynamic interdisciplinary research program at the interface of physics, biology, and applied mathematics. Professor Saiz’s work focuses on the development and application of computational and mathematical approaches to understand biological systems across multiple levels of organization—from molecular assemblies to cellular behavior. Her group integrates atomistic molecular dynamics, statistical mechanics, systems biology, and machine learning to investigate complex processes such as gene regulation, signal transduction, and protein aggregation.
