Anuj Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics. His research lies at the intersection of fluid dynamics and partial differential equations, combining mathematical analysis, computational and theoretical approaches to make progress on questions related to transport and mixing in turbulent flows.
Prior to joining UC Davis, he was a Visiting Assistant Professor at UC Berkeley. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from UC Santa Cruz in 2023.
