This past Friday, UC Davis Environmental Science & Policy put on the Environmental Sciences Research Fair outside of Wickson Hall. The event was intended for students to learn more about the opportunities available for them to engage in undergraduate research relevant to environmental sciences. Relevant indeed, is applied mathematics! Our wonderful students, Marco Ruiz, Casey Duckwall, Alaina Stockdill, and Lauren Mossman, volunteered their time at the "Ask a Grad" table where they were able to share their experiences and answer questions for undergraduate students in attendance, as well as share some of their current research.
