GGAM Member Prof. David L. Woodruff from the UC Davis Graduate School of Management has been named part of the 2024 class of INFORMS Fellows. Prof. Woodruff has been named for his contributions to the theory and practice of stochastic optimization, the development of high-quality open-source software, and service to the operations research community.
Woodruff is one of 12 pioneers who have been named with this honor, one of the highest in the field. In the Graduate School of Management's announcement, Prof. Woodruff said, "I feel fortunate to have been selected from among the many deserving candidates [...] This award inspires me to remain productive to Emeritus status at UC Davis where I have been very well supported through my career."
