Prof Arsuaga develops mathematical and computational methods to study of the 3D structure in Molecular and Cellular biology.

He has developed new mathematical methods to characterize the packing of DNA in: dsDNA bacteriophages, mitochondrial DNA in trypanosomes (kDNA) and yeast. He also has worked on Topological Data Analysis methods for the molecular characterization of breast cancer. Most recently has been investigating the mutation landscape of COVID-19. GGAM welcomes Prof. Arsuaga!
